Specs are perfect on that thing: Caterpillar C-15, 550hp @1850lbs torque, 13 speed fuller, Meritor Full lock, 244 wheelbase. The truck been ours for nearly 2 years now. We bought it to make the events and truck shows. We did invest a lot of money in it to deliver that ONE OF A KIND truck that as no comparable. If you want to win the Cab-over class at all the shows you attend, this one is for you.
Ask for RESPECT:
Thru those Monsters full length exhaust stacks, the sound that comes from that CAT is just out of a dream. HOW would it be amazing to pull your Speedboat to the Poker Run with it. It would KILL all your friend bringing your 5TH wheel RV to the campsite by the Sea. Even this truck is a pieces of classic American history, you would have no shame to pull that chromed dry box from California to New Jersey. But you’ll have to be prepared !!! Because the crowd will be looking at you, asking question and ask for a view of the inside. (Then you’ll show them your Hardwood floor!!!) It’s incredible how the K-100 is a head-turner, in the city or on the highway, not just with other fellow truckers, but everyone will notice you driving it.
Superb condition:
Will pass any DOT inspection without questions. The ride is tight, steering responsive, shifter precise like when it was new.
There is to many items to list of the repair made recently, but the most important points are:
Engine been overhauled with ALL Originals CATERPILLAR parts
Transmission been rebuilt with original FULLER parts
5th wheel been overhauled
Radiator is brand new, including lower and upper rad pipes
Brand new Charge air cooler and much more.
This truck is In superb condition for the year, sure is not perfect, many little details could be done to improve and bring it to be the ‘Class A’ show winner. Some accessories are not working or not tested: A Webasto heater and a professional power inverter are present but haven’t been tested. A/c components are all there but not working presently, might not be something big. We would rate this truck to be in 7 out of 10. Only you is missing to make it perfect.
