Up for auction is a 1999 Kenworth T300. 8.3 Mechanical Cummins engine. 6 Speed Eaton Transmission. Current Mileage is 175,867. 33 GVWR . Truck weighs 19,300lbs with equipment. The truck was a box truck up until 5 years ago when it was converted into a tow truck. At that time a re-manufactured engine and transmission was put it in. 2nd gear snycro grinds at times, once you learn to drive the truck it will go in with out grinding. The bed was purchased from Kilar brand new. The bed is a 15,000lb rated, 25 ft long, stationary head board, with a 6500lb wheel lift, that comes with frame forks.
The engine that was put into the truck is a 1994 mechanical injection, this was done, to do away with the electronics. It is also ELD exempt because it"s a glider kit. The truck is super reliable. Its has been siting for 6 months, but we start it every other day. No significant leaks. Could use TLC, Fly and drive it home. Has a ton of lights on it, we will replace the ones that are out. The truck is head turner, We are updating our equipment. None of the rails are rotted just surface rust.
