I am selling this for a friend of mine. He is currently an over the road driver and not readily available to answer questions or show the vehicle. I am retired and always available for questions and showings. This truck is also available locally for sale and I reserve the right to end this auction if vehicle is sold locally. This is a 1999 Peterbilt Model 377. Conventional with sleeper. It has an N-14 Cummins engine and a 13 speed trans. Twin screw with air ride suspension. The truck has developed a rear main seal leak on the engine and is also showing a slight seepage at the water pump. It runs well, drives nice and has many new parts and upgrades all done in the last 100,000 miles. These upgrades include a new radiator, new turbo, new king pins and alignment, new brakes all the way around. New shocks, New self adjusting clutch, all new tires (rated for low rolling resistance). New air conditioning compressor, line set, dryer, orifice, control switch. New air horns, new fender (hood mounted) mirrors, The 377 hood was damaged by the previous owner and headlights were removed and aluminum patches installed, then model 379 headlights were installed giving it a 379 look. All new LED turn signals and taillights installed. Truck should currently pass a DOT inspection, I have done a lot of the work on this truck and can answer most questions about it. I have the truck in my possession and can show it upon appointment. Title is clean and clear (Indiana) and in hand. The truck shows normal wear and tear with a few dents, scratches, and small cracks in the fiberglass. The paint is sun faded and peeling on top of the hood. The truck looks good from twenty feet, but it is not a show truck. ALSO NOTE: Per the new law passed this week regarding Electronic Log Devices, this truck being a 1999 will NOT be required to meet the new Electronic Logging Devices rules. I also have a Sturdy Lite Model VEC14 cab rack for sale that was taken off this truck and is being sold separately if interested. The truck also had at one time, a wet kit installed on it which has been removed, but switch controls are still present.
