2000 F-550 Roll back tow truck with 92,283 ORIGINAL miles!!! Title in hand. 7.3L diesel with no emissions garbage to deal with. Will make a great wrecker or vehicle transporter. This truck has the original engine and has hundreds of thousands of miles left, the engine is just broken in, zero blow by, wont even lift a ping pong ball off the oil fill tube! Truck just came from Virginia Beach, before that it was government owned on a strict maintenance schedule. It has an aluminum Kilar bed that is 17" long.
Recent maintenance includes:
*New air filter
*New in-tank fuel filters
*newer engine fuel filter, also comes with an extra one
*New serpentine belt and changed upper radiator hose to the one that doesn"t have to be removed to change belt
*Cooling system flushed with lifetime heavy duty diesel coolant
*4 Newer brake calipers, disks and pads
*Upgraded valve cover wiring harness for injectors and glow plugs
*Upgraded transmission cooler and transmission flush
*Upgraded aluminum transmission pan that holds an extra 2 gallons of fluid for cooling
*1 newer battery
*New sway bar bushings
*New wheel lift extension hydraulic piston
*New hydraulic fluid.
It does need some minor things like the turn signal lever needs to held down to signal right turn, steering bushings could be replaced but the truck drives fine, one of the hydraulic lift pistons has a very minor leak, the cover around the driver side bed controls is bent. None of these issues affects safety inspection, the truck was just inspected in Virginia 3 months ago.
