Up for auction is the company"s old 2000 F450 Box truck. This F450 has the 7.3 liter diesel and a 20 ft box. There is no lift gate, but there is a place to install a ramp (we didnt need that as we have a loading area.) The truck was parked a little over a year ago when we bought our new truck. It currently (according to my mechanic) needs a new alternator(new batteries kept losing charge after a few hours of running.) The truck will more than likely need new batteries now as well, and a tune up wouldnt hurt it. It has 229K on it, and has been a great truck till we let it sit. It wouldnt take much to get it up and moving again, but we need to get it off the property ASAP, and would like to drop the insurance on it... The body and frame are in good condition, no rust through, there is some mild surface rust, as typical with a 20 year old truck. Tires seem to still be in decent shape, nothing looks to have dry rot.
