7.3 L, V8, diesel, A/T, Warner 11 ft body, 23 ft boom I"ve owned this for one year. My wife and I own rental houses and we thought we would use it more but we"ve only used it a couple of times. The good: 7.3l engine runs strong and powerful. Always starts, no excessive smoke. Air conditioning blows cold. Body is fairly straight and no major rust. Batteries are 2 years old. All glass is good. All tires look good. Radio works. In the last month I had my local Ford dealer do the following: Change engine oil and filter, fuel filter, flush the transmission and change oil and filter. The bad: No cruise control. Hand crank windows. Hood is missing the shocks that hold it up. Air cleaner lid is missing over the battery. (Common problem on these models) Fender has a dent. (See pictures) Sticker residue from old stickers on doors and boom. Seat is getting worn on drivers side. Interior could use a good cleaning and the utility boxes have some items left in them from the last owner. May have value to the new owner. BOOM ONLY WORKS FROM LOWER CONTROLS-This is the way we used it. I would think its something simple but I don"t know much about electrical components. I"ve never looking in to the problem or had anyone work on the boom. Truck is sold as is. questions??? seven I two, six 6O, two O 3O Thanks for looking!
