I have owned this truck for a while. I bought it to a Mechanic and he told me I needed a new motor. The existing motor is a Detroit 60 series 430 split 470 horsepower. This motor is out of the truck as I was preparing to put the new engine in. The new engine is a Detroit 60 series 500 hp egr motor with like 450,000 miles. The new engine is a 2006. I am giving both motors with this deal incase you need parts from the one motor to go on the other motor. This is a project vehicle and the buyer must now what they are doing. I ran a trucking company for 10 years and I shut it down and I no longer want to do this project. I have all the major components drive shafts, Transmissions, and 2 engines for the truck. The engine that originally came out of the truck may be able to be rebuilt as well I was told. There are other parts on the truck that will need to be replaced as well. The obvious stuff I can see are the shocks, maybe some brake work, will need 2-4 tires and maybe the rims as well. There could need to be other stuff done as well but if you take the time and you are mechanically capable of doing this you will have yourself a great truck.
