Up for sale we have a 2000 GMC forestry truck with 60" working height Hi-Ranger XT-5 double over-center booms. 11" Southco dumping chip body with ladder box. This truck runs and drives great. It has a 454 gas engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. The exterior has been painted white and would still look great with a little touch-up. The interior is in nice shape; the seat is not destroyed like most. Doors open and close, windows go up and down like they should, heater / defroster works.
The booms on this truck are in great condition. Everything works just like it should. The booms can be operated from a PTO on the engine / transmission, or it has a 3-cylinder Kubota pony motor that runs and works great. It makes these trucks very fuel efficient.
The exterior on this truck has the minor bumps and bruises you would expect from being a tree truck. As I earlier stated, a touch up with a rattle can would fix the paint and make it new again. It does have a couple of rust holes on the bottom of the chip body, but the rest of the truck is clean. The rear tires look nearly new; I am calling them 80%; the front tires look a little thin, but don"t need replaced immediately, I am calling them 30%. This truck is equipped with a pintle hitch with a six-pin light connector for your towing needs.
