2000 GMC Savana 3500 1-ton Van with Terex Telelect T292 34" working height boom. This van runs and drives great. This is not the usual rusty rotten work van you are used to seeing in the Midwest; this van came from Texas. Overall, for a work vehicle, it is in very nice shape -- the doors and windows open and clse like thgey should, rear barn doors are a little banged up from the boom but still open and close properly. The interior of this van is not in bad shape either -- the driver"s seat is worn through from sliding in and out, and for some reason the steering wheel is worn worse than I have ever seen (believed to be from Texas heat). The 350 engine fires right up and runs great, the transmission shifts nice and smooth, the brake pedal feels like this should (not all spongy), the tires on this van are a matched set and are well over 50% tread remaining. With only 172k miles, this van has a lot of life left in it.
The smooth-operating Terex boom runs off an engine-mounted pump with an electric clutch; there are controls at the base as well as controls at bucket; they both work like they should. If you are going to work for an extended period, you can shut the van off and restart at the controls. There is also 110 power at the end of the boom and in the van.
