Less than 9,000 miles on new engine rebuild. This beast of a 3406E is pushing 2050 on torque due to the program being cleared and all new numbers put in. The best MPG I"ve gotten under a full load has been 7.9 per gallon and that"s driving sensibly and no idling. She has more than enough horsepower to climb any grade and you will leave the rest behind. Engine rebuild was performed by a Certified Caterpillar lead mechanic and included the milling of the head and re-cutting of the block. Too many upgrades to list.
