You are bidding on a used fire apparatus. This was used for a full time fire department in the local Metro-Detroit area and has only had one owner. The poly tank has a crack in it, and will NOT hold water. There is no generator with this unit. The tires are newer for both front and rear. All emergency lighting equipment is/will be disconnected per rules upon completion of the sale. The outfit of hydraulic tools and equipment are included. The winning bidder will be responsible for the payment in full within 7 business days of the end of the auction. Payment will be required to be by CERTIFIED FUNDS ONLY (CERTIFIED CHECK/CASHIERS CHECK-WITH VERIFICATION OF FUNDS ONLY). Our agency/municipality cannot process PayPal, direct electronic wires, and so forth. The winning bidder will be responsible for pick up of the vehicle. Our agency will not arrange for a shipping service. We also reserve the right to hold the vehicle until the funds have cleared even when the funds are certified (Banks may still place a 10-day hold even on certified funds).
THE VEHICLE WAS USED AS A PRIMARY ENGINE FOR A FIRE DEPARTMENT, THEREFORE WILL HAVE WEAR AND TEAR TYPICAL WITH A FIRE/MUNICIPAL VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE IS SOLD “AS IS/WHERE IS” WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. THE AGENCY/MUNICIPALITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT ANY AND ALL BIDS, CANCEL ANY AND ALL BIDS, AND APPROVE BIDS ACCORDINGLY. OUR AGENCY/MUNICIPALITY ALSO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE AUCTION AT ANYTIME, FOR ANY REASON THAT WE SEE FIT, WITH NO RECOURSE CIVILLY FOR THE POTENTIAL BIDDER AND OR WINNING BIDDER.
OUR AGENCY WILL NOT SHIP A VEHICLE OVERSEAS, THEREFORE NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS WILL BE ALLOWED WITH THIS AUCTION. BIDDERS WITH A ZERO (0) FEEDBACK RATING WILL NEED TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE LISTING OFFICER IN CHARGE VIA TELEPHONE BEFORE A ZERO (0) FEEDBACK BID WILL BE ALLOWED.
