2001 Ford F550 with the unbeatable 7.3 powerstroke diesel. 174,xxx miles
New brakes including calipers, rotors and pads on axles.
New e-brake hardware on rear also.(still needs new e brake cables)
New tool boxes both sides (36 on passenger side 24 on drivers side.
4 new glow plugs (others tested within limits)
New high pressure power steering line
New rear bearings and wheel seals.
New led work lights.
The bad: Rear tires are nearing the end of useful life. (Steer tires are in very good shape)
Little body rust (rockers)
Some rusty cross members
Rpm control doesn"t seem to work. (could be operator error not familiar with this set up)
So here is the deal I started a new towing company in May, bought a brand new rollback and bought this one as a second truck, put a lot of work into it and got it ready for the road. I have since decided I want a regular hook for pulling cars out of the ditch this winter. This will make a nice truck for someone.
