Here is my personal 01 F550 superduty. Has the awesome 7.3 powerstroke in it. Very strong truck, Transmission is very solid to. Truck runs out very well and strong. Overall in good condiiton. Has a little rust on the bottom of the door starting. Frame and rest of truck is solid. Has a 15-16" stake body bed on it with a working tommy lift gate. Very low mileage for this truck at 132,000. I wouldntbe scared to load this thing down and drive to florida or california. It runs that well.
TLC Needed:
It smokes a little as injector #2 is bad. Slight miss and the O ring on injector is letting a drip of oil slip by and cause smoke (see last pic). Doesnt hurt the performance and doesnt notice smoke once your going down the road. Only when you stop at a light or take off, but Id get it fixed soon. Actually I just ordered the new injector and set of glow plugs (doesnt need them but was gonna relace them before it got to cold into winter). Ford is who put the truck on the IDS system and told me the injector #2 is failing.
You want a super good strong truck, then bid this one. You wont be disappointed at all.
