For sale is a FedEx fleet maintained 2001 Freightliner Utilimaster MT45 14" cargo area step-van with 444,328 miles. Its equipped with the 24 valve Cummins diesel motor, automatic Alison transmission, air conditioning, power locks, keyless entry Stratec system, Weldex color backup camera, collapsible aluminum shelving, translucent roof, and cargo lighting.
The motor was just serviced at our shop and the following motor work was just completed: cylinder head was baked, cleaned, vacuum tested, mag tested, and new valve seals were installed. Has new piston rings on all six pistons, all new rod bearings, upper gasket set including new head gasket, and new oil pan gasket.
This truck is mechanically sound and very reliable, its ready to work. The 24 valve Cummins has great power, the automatic Alison transmission shifts nice and smooth, truck drives nice and straight down the road, brakes are in excellent condition, tires have good tread, no diagnostic lights, or fluid leaks. Great opportunity to own a FedEx fleet maintained step-van. Would make an excellent base for a food truck, or any working trade.
