For sale is a 2001 Freightliner Ambulance/Firetruck. ..The Ambulance was meticulously maintained by the agency that owned it before. .As you can see the box has little to no rust! MECHANICAL:The truck is great no noises runs and shifts smooth like it should. This is equipped with a push button automatic transmission(close to a 2k upgraded)...The truck was just given a fresh oil change and a new fuel filter installed. .I also had this looked at by a diesel mechanic and he said it sounds great...It fires right up everytime...It had very low miles for a diesel engine. .There are no lights on the dash or engine codes...BODY:AS you can see from the pictures the body is in really good shape...There are some small bumps and bruises as can be expected with a 2001 vehicle. The door handles have surface rust. The windshield has two minor stone chips on the driver side(can easily be repaired).INTERIOR:The interior is in really good shape. The captains chair in the cab has a small cut on the side. Other then that as you can see most if not all of the medical Items were left inside the cabin which is rare. ELECTRICAL:All of the lights, radio, siren function as they should. .KNOWN ISSUES:As can be expected with a 2001 there are some minor issues with the truck.. The gas gauge does not work...I"m not sure why but it has side saddle fuel tanks so its pretty easy to look and see how much fuel you have left...I have no keys for any of the doors. .They got lost by the fire department so you will have to have a new key made or replace the locks...The back door will not open, I"m not sure why it may just need some wd-40 but I didn"t want to yank on it and break the handle. .It drips a small amount of power steering fluid..It doesn"t drip enough for me to see where its coming from but it was the size of a quarter after being parked in my driveway for about a month..Not a big deal but I want to be totally transparent...OVERALL:This is a solid truck that runs and drives great. .With only 105k the drivetrain is barely even broke in yet!
