This is a real nice bucket truck. It runs and drives great. I bought this truck about two years ago and it was from the Verizon fleet, it was a one owner (one company) when purchased and always fleet maintained. I have only put a few hundred miles on this truck since I bought it. I use it around my house and from time to time I travel with it to friends houses to do work. The boom has about a 35" working height measured from the ground to the bucket. The boom is powered by a good running Onan 6500 onboard generator. The generator has an electric start. There are dual gas tanks, I believe the rear tank is intended for the generator, however, the generator gas line is placed into a gas can in the bed of the truck and it gets fuel from there. This is how it was when I bought it and it works fine. This truck has an onboard inverter and several 120 Volt outlets and one 220 Volt outlet. The exterior is in good shape, the utility body is fiberglass so rust and rot are a non-issue. The body also has a nice aluminum ladder rack mounted on one side of the compartments. The compartments have lots of storage, drawers, shelves, etc. The cab, fenders, hood, rockers, etc. are all in good shape. The paint appears to be original and shows some wear, but still looks pretty good. The bed has the extended platform on the back. The bed has a few rust spots and a few rust holes, but it"s solid and in overall good shape. The boom has some paint wear, but works great, extends, rotates, and works as it should. This is a Versalift boom setup. The bucket has a heater in it, though I never tried to use it. I have also never used the power outlets. The interior of the truck is in good condition, the seats are not torn, floors look good, and is in overall good shape. Normal wear and tear for its age is the only note I would make. The exhaust and muffler were new when I bought it and still has some of the original shiny metal. The rear has dual wheels, the front and rear tires are in fair shape and I would estimate there is 75% tread remaining on the rear and a little less on the front, they have a lot of life left. There is a mud flap on one side in the rear, not the other. There are nice diamond plate step-ups on each side below each door that are in great condition and very sturdy. The undercarriage, frame, leaf springs, etc. are in great shape.
A few notes: The headlights work, brake lights work, and strobe lights work. The rear running lights don"t work. It could be a fuse or bulbs, I have never attempted to fix it. When the truck first starts, I think I can hear a very slight exhaust leak, but I am told by my mechanic friend that it sounds normal to him. The brake pedal seems to press lower to floor than it should, but this may be normal, and the actual braking seems to work fine. The emergency brake works good.
I am selling this truck simply because I do not use it enough to justify keeping it. It has only 98,765 miles and I beleive everything is original (paint, etc.). It has always been reliable for me and been very dependable.
I have a clean title in hand. I would prefer local pickup, but it can be shipped if you arrange it and pay for it. I prefer cash at the time of pickup, if a check, it must be a bank check from a reputable bank. The check must clear BEFORE the vehicle can be picked up or shipped. Local viewing and testing of the vehicle can be arranged prior to the auction end with reasonable notice. The truck is located in southern New Hampshire south of Keene, NH.
When I registered this truck, it was like registering a typical passenger truck and required no speacial drivers license to operate (at least in this state), so this was convenient.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
