Selling a nice one owner 2001 International 8100 tandem axle day cab road tractor with 486,811 miles. Cat C10 motor that is rated at 370 hp at 1800 rpm but according to Caterpillar can make up to around 400 hp. Eaton 9 speed manual transmission and Meritor RT40145 rear end with a 3.90 gear ratio. Truck is in good shape and will start run and drive.
Truck is air ride and is equipped with air conditioning, heated mirrors, sliding fifth wheel and cruise control. Wheel base is 158 and total GVWR is 52k lbs.
Truck has been DOT inspected as of yesterday and is ready to go. We fixed a small coolant leak and replaced a brake chamber.
In terms of any other issues there is a loose wire on the cluster as a light will flicker on and off when the truck hits a bump. There is a small leak at the valve cover with some old residue around the engine. I would assume valve cover gasket. That is all that was found and none of it affected the operation of the truck. There is also an oil sample analysis available that I have attached to the bottom of this description. Oil sample looked good as well.
