Due to recent changes to California Emissions Law, this vehicle must be sold Out of State.
This 2001 International Vac-Con Sewer truck was recently retired from a local municipality and is good running and working condition. Only 65K miles and 9809 HRs, it"s powered by a diesel International with an automatic transmission. The trans does have an issue with popping out of gear which the city"s chief mechanic believes is a voltage issue. In his words: The transmission goes into neutral at times when in gear. If you place the transmission in neutral and back in gear it appears to catch again. The system drops voltage to below 11 volts which causes the trans to default into neutral (I don"t believe it"s a transmission issue, it"s a voltage issue) We have driven this truck and can confirm that it drives well but may drop into neutral when at idle. The Vac-Con pump was rebuilt 5/14 and works well. All tires are in good condition, but the pair on the right rear will need replacing soon. (see photo) Cosmetically, it looks good but has the usual scratches and dings that you will find on a 15 year old service truck. There is some glue residue on the doors from the city decals, and the glass lens on a pump gauge is broken. Inside, the seat are in good condition, and all accessories seem to work well with the exception of the horn. The plastic door pocket is cracked, and the overhead console has vacancies where the radio equipment once was.
Measurements are: Wheelbase (axles center to center) 224 Overall length 370 Height 146 width 100. GVWR is 18596 lbs. A good truck with a lot of life left in it that is ready to work. (just not in California) No Reserve!

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A 25% deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. Payment can be made by Cash in person, Paypal, Bank Wire Transfer, Visa or Mastercard. Maximum amount payable by Paypal, Visa or Mastercard is $5K due to transaction charges. Out of state buyers will receive a California title in their name within two to three weeks after full payment is received.
