I am selling a beautiful 2001 Peterbilt 379 EXHD extended hood in spectacular condition. The truck has been very well maintained and needs nothing to hit the road. This truck is equipped with what is probably the most reliable engines in a modern truck, a series 60 Detroit 12.7L rated at 500 HP. The truck is very reliable and gets more than 7 MPG pulling a flatbed. The transmission is a 13 speed with no problems. Axles are 12k on the front and 40k on the rear with a 3.55 rear differential. The truck only has 709k original miles. Wheelbase to center of the last axle is 287 inches. This truck is a Midroof model and it is painted in a classy black with gray accents on the fenders and the roof. Lots of chrome, including 18 custom Texas style front bumper with LED accent/fog lights, color matched visor, chrome rear wheel covers, chrome rear brake light plates and other miscellaneous chrome bits inside and out. Custom dual 8 straight-pipe exhaust pipes, sounds great without any drone. All 10 rims are aluminum. Comes with an aluminum headache rack. Dual 120 gallon fuel tanks. Interior is in impeccable shape and very very clean. All the gauges and switches have chrome trim, stereo is an upgraded aftermarket unit with AUX input. Air conditioning is ice cold, heater works like it should. Custom shifter handle, actually feels great in the hand and is very comfortable. The red on black interior/exterior combination looks great.
