formally owned by the state of MD, this 2001 STERLING L7500 PLOW TRUCK is great running condition. the 8.3L CUMMINS diesel starts on command and runs with no issues and is matted to an electronically controlled automatic transmission. with only 35,882 miles on it, this truck runs down the highway with no issues. this money maker is equipped with a hydraulic plow and salt spreader, both of which are in working order according to the state highway administration. the plow is currently in the stainless steel dump body for easy transport. the dump body on this truck is completely functional (see videos).
the exterior as you can see is in great condition. there are no dings or dents, the stainless dump body is in great shape with no rust( see pictures). the plow and all of its mounting hardware is in the dump bed. the tires and brakes are in good shape. the frame is in good shape with minimal surface rust. there is no structural issues with this truck. the state does its best to keep the maintenance up on their fleet. this truck is not flawless cosmetically but it does clean up nice and serves its purpose.
the interior as you can see is in ok condition. the driver seat does have some wear on it but no major rips or tears. but as far as functionality. she does what she is supposed too. the radio turns on and works, it is just sitting in its cradle. reception isn"t the greatest, could be the antenna. there are some wires laying on the dash from where the state took out there communications equipment. doesn"t effect the way the truck performs. there are no warning lights on at this time and all the controls seem to be in working order. if i was going to spend hours upon ours making that money i would have no issues being in this truck. if you are interesting in this one please pay attention to our other up coming auctions. we have other truck like this that will be listed in the near future. if you have a question or are unsure of something please ask. we try our best to cover as much as possible but we are not perfect. please watch the video and look at pictures
