Selling one of several Sterling I purchased from original owner. 2001 model L8500 with a Cat 3126B engine with 250-300 hp. The engine serial number is 9SZ06344. Truck has a 7 speed Eaton/Fuller transmission, serial number T0205213. Rear end is a Meritor RS23160 with a gear ration of 4.30. Front is 12K lbs and rear is 20k lbs for a total of 32K total GVWR. It has a 148 wheelbase, 70 gallon fuel tank, air conditioning, and air slide fifth wheel. Tires are 11R x 24.5 with Budd wheels. Truck was maintained by one of the over 400 locations that they have nationwide for their fleet. Mileage is original and verified. These truck were on what they call a peddle route which was explained to me to be a short local delivery route.
Truck will crank run and drive. It has normal wear and tear and there is some paint loss on the frame and engine support which is obviously no big deal but I wanted to mention it.
As with all our auctions the truck can be inspected during auction and test driven. It is located in Mount Airy, NC. Shipping is available at buyers expense. As I said they can be viewed, inspected and driven as well during auction. Title is clear and in my possession.
$500 deposit due via Paypal with 48 hours of auction end and balance due within 7 days of auction end via wire transfer. As I said I have several other units so feel free to view those as well. Financing is available with a minimum credit score of 600. You would need to have approval before bidding though.
