2002 Ford E450 XLT Road Rescue Ultramedic type III dual rear wheel dually 14,050 GVW ambulance with the 7.3L Power Stroke turbo diesel V8 engine and an automatic transmission. 195,470 miles. This was just taken out of service from a local ambulance company. It is a top of the line, fully loaded, clean ambulance. It has power windows, power locks, heated mirrors, AM/FM/tape radio, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, and a rearview back up camera. The driver’s compartment is in very good condition, clean, and everything works well. There are no rips, tears, major stains, or smells. The ambulance box is in good condition and clean. All of the cabinets are in good shape. The dome lights, exhaust fan, suction pump, rear air conditioning and heat, and oxygen set up are all still hooked up and functioning well. The exterior is in very good condition. It has all Whelen perimeter lighting, strobe light bar, rear strobe lights, side strobe lights, floodlights, and a Whelen siren with PA system all still working well. The clearance lights, turn signals, and brake lights are all LED. This ambulance runs and drives well. The engine starts easily, has no smoke, no leaks, no hesitations, and no issues. There are no check engine lights or any other sort of warning lights. The turbo spools up well and there is no blow by. The transmission shifts smoothly and the brakes work well. It drives nicely. This could be put back into service as an ambulance or it would make a great camper, contractor cargo van, plumbing van, mechanic service truck, or trailer hauler. It does have some average wear for the year. The right front wheel bearing makes some noise. The tires are fair, but will need to be replaced soon. The front tires are better than the rears. The inverter has been removed, but the wiring is still intact. The driver’s side rocker panel has some surface rust starting (pictured), but it is not bad and there are no rot holes. The ambulance body has a small amount of corrosion starting around the edges. The exterior has some scratches and dings. Clean title. Being sold as wholesale to the public.
