Up for auction is a very clean 2002 Freightliner FL-70 Hi-Ranger 60 foot working height bucket truck. I am selling this for friend of mine , he bought her 2 years ago from the original owner in NC . He no longer needs this large of a bucket truck . This truck only has 19,689 original miles . The hour meters stopped working after he had her, but reflect Chassis 5,345 Hours PTO Hours 911 Hours (see pics). The previous owner replaced the oil pan and replaced the 45 gallon fuel tank (see pics).
Interior includes Freightliner AM/FM cassette Premium sound system . Air ride drivers seat , passenger bench seat , cruise control , locking differential , electric brake controller, Stainless Steel mirrors and basic instrumentation package .
Cat 3126 is 250 HP , mated to 6 speed manual transmission. Has a block heater , she will hold air pressure for a week. Please send an email with your phone number if you would like us to text you a video of the truck running . Steer tires are Michelin XZE they have 9/32 of tread and are wearing even . This truck would pass any DOT inspection , except the Right Outer drive tire has a chunk missing from it . Other than that she is very mechanically sound .
The Hi-Ranger 60 foot working height bucket works great ,complete 360 turn , has upper pistol controls , and regular lower controls . Truck has plenty of storage boxes on the sides with built in wheel chock holders and out rigger pad storage . Out riggers pads are included . Has a flashing beacon and work light .She has four hydraulic out riggers , I was curious if you had a flat tire if they would lift the truck up to change the tire , the answer is yes , no problem.
Set up to pull a trailer if needed , has pintle hitch , D rings for safety chains, wired for trailer lights. She has a capstan winch on the rear .
This is a solid plain Jane workhorse of a truck that has a lot of life left in her . If you would like to reach the owner you may call him direct with questions at 937-925-1226. As everyone knows this truck does not have come with a warranty , but my friend said he would drive this truck anywhere in the USA with no reservation.
