You are looking at a 2002 Freightliner FLD70 22ft Box Truck. We are selling this as-is, where-is. We purchased this truck at auction from Fed Ex when they were upgrading their fleet. It has always been part of their fleet so you can know it was well-maintained. There is even a recent sticker from the last fleet inspection in 2013 by Fed Ex on the truck. The GVWR is 33,000 lbs. It has a 5.9L Cummins L6 Diesel engine with a 5-speed automatic transmission. We found a sticker in the engine compartment from Jasper transmissions (see pics), so we believe that there may be a newer automatic transmission in the truck, but we did not confirm this. We also noticed the front shocks look newer (see pic). The truck runs and drives good - no mechanical problems we could find. The body is in good shape with average wear for the year, use and miles. The box is by Morgan and is 22ft long with a 9ft X 8ft door. The door has an electric liftgate that works good. We tested the liftgate with a heavy load and it works good and operates smoothly, but we did notice that when the gate was folding up to the truck when empty that the right side moves a bit slower than the left, but it did not seem to affect the operation of the gate. There is some minor rust on the inside of the box near the back (see pics). The tires are 22.5 and about 1/2 tread all around, and it has air brakes that work good. It should make it anywhere for you with no problem. The interior is in good shape with average wear for the year and use, and no rips or tears. The fan blower knob is broken for the heat and A/C so we could not test it. It also has an AM/FM CD stereo, cruise control, and power, heated mirrors. If you"re looking for a good running, fleet maintained box truck at a really great price, bid now, no reserve!
