Up for sale today is a 2002 Freightliner Stepvan in excellent condition. This is an ex- USPS truck, with the awesome combination of a Cummins 5.9 and an Alison automatic transmission. Tires are in good shape with plenty of tread, brakes are in good shape, body is in good shape with a couple small repairs needed, one rear tire well slightly bent and the rear bumper rubber needs to be re-installed. I will try to get those repairs done before the listing ends, but no promise, (busy)! Starts right up, even in cold weather, shifts fine, handles well. If you are looking for a good solid base for a food truck, or need a construction/ contractor vehicle, or need a good delivery van this is what you are looking for. It would be great as a Fed Ex contract vehicle also! The one thing that needs replacement/ repair on this step van is the speedometer; mileage is based on the maintenance records. I can"t find the maintenance records, I may have left them when I bought the truck, but I did look at them at the time of purchase, USPS maintained. I can help with loading if you are shipping, pick up is fine. I wouldn"t hesitate to drive this across the country, but it is being sold as is.
