I just got back from a 2 1/2 month leave out of state, and that"s why there"s grass under the truck. This is a very RARE vehicle. The 4wd on a heavy duty 2 ton utility truck is not commonly found. The motor and transmission have very low miles, and comes with no problems. For this truck to be as heavy built and get 9 miles per gallon at high road speed is very uncommon. Some recent repairs/upgrades is a.c. hoses replaced and blows COLD AIR. The front tires have less than 200 miles on them. The front end was lined up shortly after. The oil and fluid filters were changed 450 miles ago. There is a heavy duty Van Air PTO driven air compressor with 1,726.8 hours showing. It will run a jack hammer or any other air tool you wish to hook up. There is a 110 volt convertor (see the box to the right of the air system controls) in the right rear utility box. Minimal rust - mostly surface rust. There are extra lights and a yellow caution flasher which are controlled inside the cab (see pics). The only gauge not working is the RPM gauge. It does work at the transmission, but is not working inside the cab. Maybe a wire??
About a possible partial trade for a 4WD lawn mower/garden tractor/loader. I"m searching for a John Deere or a Case - newer than a model 425 (20 to 30 h.p.) with rear and front steer, diesel or gas, & with a loader and deck LOW HOURS. We moved to town and have some timber and also a steep area to mow. A mower taller than a J.D. 425 would not be an option.
If there was anything wrong with this truck other than the RPM gauge I would mention it now. It is road ready, and can be driven anywhere you wish. If you buy it now and the truck is in no way just like I described it you are not, by any means obligated to buy it. The truck is a few miles south/east of Lincoln, Il. 62656 on St rt 121.Appointment necessary if you"d like to inspect the truck. Any questions please call Tom at 217-306-2821 for more info. Thanks for looking.
