Up for auction is a 2002 International extended cab Boom /crane truck that was owned by a local electric company since new and used to set power poles, This truck has only 103k miles and is powered by a very nice running DT 466 diesel 6 cyl engine and an allison automatic tranny that shifts smoothly and air brakes, Also has an exhaust brake. The truck has 6 brand new tires that were recently installed before I bought the truck. The cab & chassis is very clean with NO RUST but the UTILITY BODY DOES HAVE RUST. Truck is equipt with a large boom that has 2 telescoping extensions with hydraulic jaws on the end of the boom to grab poles and has a winch mounted on the boom as well, Also has 4 stabilizer legs. This truck has been sitting out of service for a few months but I used it today and I just hit the key and it started right up and everything seemed to work on it including the strobe lights, The only 2 issues that I found was a power steering line was leaking a little so I had to add some fluid to that and while the brakes work and stopped the truck, they didn"t seem to grab like they should ( probably rust in the drums from sitting over the winter ) I think they will clean up when driven more but it may need brake shoes at some point.
