This auction is for a 2002 Pete 379. I bought it used, as a back up truck for my main oil field truck several years ago. I did not use it much that way, maybe 10,000 miles. We quit the oil field here in ND, and I have been using it in my farming operation. It gets about 4,000 miles a year on it there. It is too big and good of a truck to be kept just for that purpose. So, I am selling it, to get a smaller, day cab tractor.
It runs good. Shifts nice. It uses one gallon of oil in 15,000 miles or so, so the engine is good. It starts very good in cold weather. It is ready to go anywhere. I would take it over the road anywhere, USA. It has the rare Ultra Sleeper. Which is the big bed that folds up to the back wall, and a table then can fold down, with bench seats on either side. It has the large door on the passenger side, which is so nice to just set your luggage directly into the sleeper, instead of having to take it thru the cab. It is a nice sleeper. The fridge does not work. Never had need of it, so not sure if just a fuse, or if it is bad. It has a generator, but it did not work when I got it, and since I did not need it, I did not attempt to see if it was easy to fix or not.

It is a 6NZ Cat C-15 at 550 hp. Since it is a 2002, it is a pre emissions engine. VERY sought after. None of the crud that is on the later engines. Runs like a dream. Dual aluminum 125 gallon fuel tanks, with shutoffs so one tank can be used at a time, if wanted. The brakes are 50% plus. The front tires are 70% or so, and the rears are 50-60%.
Buyer pickup, but, if possible, I can help with delivery for expenses. Depends on where and when it is going, but will try to help arrange. If needed, I can arrange pickup at airport too.
