Hello and thanks for viewing our 2003 Ford E350 Type 2 Ambulance. This unit was just taken out of service in 2016 and is fully operational. All you need to do is acquire a stretcher and some medical supplies and you have a functional ambulance ready to roll. We have also sold these units to people that have converted these units into RVs and motor homes and expedition vehicles. They are also great work trucks. There is plenty of space to store tools and accessories in this rig. As for this particular unit, it runs and drives 100%. The 7.3 turbo Diesel engine starts right up and doesn"t blow any smoke out of the exhaust. For those who do not know about the 7.3 , these engines have become legendary for reliability and have been documented to go over 1 million miles. The transmission is also upgraded from the regular E350 , for the diesel rigs Ford put a heavier duty trans. It shifts smooth and on the mark. As far as cosmetics , it"s not perfect , but it is very respectable and there is no major damage anywhere. This ambulance is priced for a quick sale. If you want to inspect the truck , please do it BEFORE you make a bid or offer.
