I have owned this truck since December of 2009. I bought it from Penske Truck Rental in North Bergen, NJ with 390k miles on it. It has been a GREAT truck that has served us well hauling a 6 car trailer. As our business has grown, we simply have outgrown the single axle truck. It runs & drives great and has plenty of power. It has been very well maintained with oil changes/lube every 15k miles. The 12.7L Detroit is a great running engine that is known for its dependability and fuel economy. In my opinion, the best Detroit engine ever made. It has a nice 51 inch sleeper that is tall enough to stand up in. The Driver"s Seat was recently replaced with a new Air Ride Seat from Freightliner and is in excellent condition. The headlights were recently replaced with new ones. The old ones get foggy over time and reduce the brightness of the headlights.
The Freightliner is a very good running truck
The Drive Tires are like new virgins not recaps with very few miles on them. The front tires are in very good condition. The truck is ready to go to work. It was perfect for pulling a car hauler trailer and is way better than using a dually to pull a 3 car wedge. Would also be great to pull a grain trailer out of the field or a cattle trailer.
The truck has a few bruises on it as you can see in the pics. The fender near the passenger side headlight has some scratches on it where a driver ran into the barb wire fence at our lot when it was icy. There are some plastic pieces missing on the dash.
