The Title to the truck is labeled Rebuilt Salvage due to the driver hitting a cow in 2013. Freightliner scared the insurance company into totaling it, by stating there could be damage to the brand new rebuilt engine. At the time we were almost positive the damage was cosmetic only because the driver wasn"t moving very fast. We didn"t really put up a huge fight with the insurance companies decision. :-) Instead we let the insurance company total it and then we bought it back from them. We had the truck fixed and just as we suspected the damage was cosmetic only. No other damage. The truck has ran great for about 150,000 since then.
