2003 Kenworth T600 - 475 HP / 1850 ft/lb torque Caterpillar C15 - 6NZ Serial - single turbo, pre-emissions- Eaton 13 speed- 1.3 million miles- No record of inframe, head gasket replaced at 700k-800k by Caterpillar
- Kenworth 8-bag air ride suspension with dump valve- All new brakes on drive axles- Excellent matching caps on rears (Mostly Michelin, maybe a couple Bridgestone I believe)- Decent steer tires- Body is overall in good shape. A little fiberglass cracking near drivers side hood hinge- Interior mostly disassembled due to mold from leaking sunroof. Have almost all parts for the cab, and some for the sleeper. Missing couch bunk and upper bunk. Have both air ride seats.
- Nice Alpine head unit with built in SiriusXM- Nice Galaxy CB radio- All maintenance records since I purchased the truck in October 2014- Clean North Carolina title in hand
- Known mechanical issues: (truck has not been in use for several years, so expect a few)
* Left turn signals not working on rear or drivers step* Air dryer purge valve sticks, have to plug with thumb to start building of air
* Heater core in sleeper was leaking, turned off valves that feed it and never used it
Truck would make an excellent parts truck or project truck for someone that wants to get their hands dirty.
TriPac APU and related accessories (Espar heater, blower, etc.) will be removed before sale.
Two new Group 31 batteries are NOT included in the purchase price but can go with the truck for an extra $200. Plan to bring your own if you want to drive it home. Buyer responsible for driving or transporting truck after purchase.
