You are looking at a 2004 Chevrolet C6500 24ft Box Truck. 203,157 miles. It has a Caterpillar C7 7.2L L6 turbo diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. We purchased this at auction from Lowe"s upgrading their fleet. It has always been part of their fleet and has always been fleet maintained. We purchased this truck inop / not running and we are selling it as-is, where-is for parts or to fix up. The winning bidder will need to pick it up at the auction in Cranberry Twp, PA and it will have to be towed, but the driveshaft has already been removed in order to have it towed to the auction and is, of course, included. We inspected the truck but we did not attempt to start it in case we would cause damage, and we do not know what is wrong with it. We noticed that the airbox and several bolts from the valve cover had been removed. Everything is there and included. The 22.5 tires are in very good shape, almost new.
The body has average wear for the year, miles and use. It has some minor surface rust, scratches and dings that are average for a truck of this type & use, and there are some deep scratches at the top of the box, but no major damages (see pics). The headlamp bezels and covers have been removed. The interior is in cab is in ok shape with average signs of wear. Some of the trim and carpeting have been pulled back for access. It has basic options with an AM/FM stereo & manual windows & locks. The interior of the box is in good shape with no damages or leaks inside that we could see, and some left behind washing machines that we don"t know anything about, and the airbox and trim parts (all included). It has a large pull-up door at the rear that operates smoothly, and an electric liftgate that we were not able to test. If you"re looking for a 24ft box truck with a CAT diesel for parts or fix up at a really great price, bid now, no reserve!
We have fully inspected this vehicle and have honestly disclosed everything we have found, however no inspection is perfect and sometimes things are missed.
