Selling a nice 2004 Freightliner M2106 refrigerated box truck. Has a 16" box with curbside door and powered by a Mercedes MBE 900 engine with 210 hp at 2300 rpm. If unfamiliar with this motor it is the best commercial motor that Mercedes builds. These motors routinely get 500k miles and up before needing exchange or rebuild. Truck has an Allison 6 speed automatic and a Rockwell 19-144 rear end with a 6.14 ratio. GVWR is 26k lbs.
Reefer is a 2004 model Thermo King CB Max unit. These are very popular because they are direct drive units that run off the truck engine. They have a compressor on the truck, which we just replaced, and a small electric motor on the unit itself. The beauty of this obviously is that you don"t have to worry about another engine or buying a unit with a bunch of hours.
I just finished $2100 worth of work on the truck at Dennis truck repair in Richmond, VA. I put a new compressor, drier, and chassis fuse on the truck. We tested the reefer unit and it runs out good. The only issue we found was after we put system back together and there is a slow leak in a number 10 fitting. It is a 90 degree fitting and instead of pulling it back apart I decided to just mention that it will need to be replaced. The fitting was around $15-20. He also DOT inspected the truck as you can see in picture. It is ready to go.
There is a tear in the seat(pictured) and a small scrape in the wall of the box(pictured). Other normal wear and tear inside and out is noted and pictured. Truck will run and drive and can be driven to your location at buyers expense on request. I have a couple people that deliver for me. I can be reached with questions at 931-434-9503 or you can email. Title is clean and clear and in my possession and will be forwarded to buyer upon full payment.
