This was a Buy Out situation where one of the long time O/O at FedEx $old all of his runs & equipment. The new owner bought a couple of 2012s from us & we traded/bought these. I"m sure he kept very good records, b/c his maintenance was VERY GOOD! (ALL THESE FEDEX GUYS KEEP THEIR STUFF EXTREMELY WELL MAINTAINED!!!) I"ll see if I can get anything from Original Owner. As far as I know it hasn"t had to have any major engine work & very minimal/normal blowby. It"s a CAT with 1 million miles on it, so gonna have a little blowby, but by no means excessive & isn"t supposed to be using any oil to speak of. If I had any concerns about the truck, I would"ve whole$aled it to one of my good Mexican customers & wouldn"t have ever listed it on eBay. Since it"s never hauled any weight to speak of & with the BIG CAT, 1,850 torque trans this thing hasn"t run but 1,400-1,500 rpms it"s entire life. It didn"t run much over 68-70 mph, b/c the key to making $$$ for these FedEx O/Os is to keep fuel milage at 6 mpg, b/c of how they have their fuel deal set up with FedEx!!! Also drive train & suspension haven"t had near the normal WEAR & TEAR on them b/c hauling doubles, so no actual weight sitting on the rear of the truck itself!!!
