2004 Peterbilt 379 w/3-Car Head Rack & Cottrell High Rail Trailer handles up to 10-vehicles. Dual PTO & Electric hydraulic pump system. Equipment was used on I-75 Michigan to Miami round trips with snow-birds & dealers. Rust is minimal, new post"s installed or replaced by Cottrell recently on the tractor & trailer.
It is a used truck which requires regular maintenance to operate and maintain. This truck is not new and our price reflects our minimum acceptable offer. The equipment is and has been reliable & averaging 5-MPG fully loaded. Batteries just replace May 2018 and the truck is equipped with 2000 watt AC inverter in the cab. Tractor & Trailer have axle air bag over-ride to lift tractor & trailer for additional ground clearance.
Engine Head was changed by Caterpillar at 597,000 miles due to crack & head gasket leak. Turbo Charger has been replaced, Steering king pins changed at 600,000 miles. A/C compressor replaced May 2018 with air in the cab & sleeper.
In 2015 truck had a Deer strike in Kentucky wrinkling the front hood & bumper. Radiator, Turbo Cooler, & Evaporator replaced in 2017 two years after the strike.
Complete front axle on the trailer replaced June 2018 with Cottrell wet axle upgrade including brakes & air chambers. Brakes on tractor replaced April 2018 including, ABS air valve assembly and quick release valve.
Clutch was changed Oct 2017 while changing thro-out bearing, Hydraulic pump and PTO assembly also replaced. The truck is a worker and requires daily maintenance since the day it was purchased.
