Selling a one owner 2004 Sterling L8500 single axle road tractor. The truck has 186K original miles on it and was DOT inspected twice a year since it was new regardless of mileage. It has an Eaton 7 speed transmission and a Cat C7 engine. Rear end is Rockwell RS23160 with a 4.30 gear ratio. Tires are 11R24.5.
Truck will start, run and drive. We have sold many of the units from this fleet over the years and the trucks are typically very well maintained. You will see normal wear and tear as they do sit outside like most any other truck. It has had mechanical inspection and we can perform a DOT inspection at buyers request if they are planning to drive the truck out and need that done. It would be at buyers expense but they usually only run about $85 most place I deal with. The truck will be delettered prior to selling it. Con-way requires that so it will be white under the decals.
The truck is located in Carlstadt, NJ and we can assist with delivery at buyers expense as well. Normally these units don"t have many miles on them but this one is the lowest we have had. They rotate the units so the mileage gets spread evenly instead of piling up miles on certain units.
