Up for sale is a 2005 ford f450 V8 6.0 self loader tow truck. Controls are inside the truck so you never have to step foot outside the truck when retrieving a vehicle. We purchased it in July of 2010 and have had most maintenance appointments at victor ford in wauconda, IL. The truck has just over 300k miles But still has so much power. We had the alternator replaced not long ago, new tie rod and brake pads. Tire tread is at 80% in the back 60% in the front. The truck also has a new starter. The radiator was replaced in 2011. In 2014 fuel injectors 1, 3, 5, & 7 were replaced. In June 2015 fuel injectors 2, 4, 6, and 8 were replaced as well as glow plugs 2 & 4 and the EGR valve intake manifold. In March of 2012 we replaced the cylinder head gasket. Mechanically truck is a beast. We have a clean title, in hand. The truck has a pretty clean interior with a CD player. Passenger seat has a rip from wear and tear but center seating area and driver seat are intact. The lid of the center console is loose and needs to be screwed back in. The front cabins body is great. The back body sides has areas of rust. Both tool boxes are rusted out from inside and the lids need to re-welded. The coolant hose is leaking. Back rotors may need to be replaced soon.
