For sale today is a 2005 Ford F450 bucket truck. This truck has solid power under the hood, with a Ford 6.0 liter Powerstroke diesel engine, backed by an automatic transmission. The business end of this unit features the desirable and easy to use Altec AT235 boom with a 40" working height. This squirt boom is great for getting into tight places, and easy to operate from the ground or the uppers with palm switch/toggle controls. Easy access to the bucket is granted through the swing-open door on the bucket. This is a non-insulated bucket. This Ford rolls down the road nicely, and the boom really does work well. The interior is pretty workmanlike in this truck, with A/C and a traffic manager system mounted below the dash. The 19.5 rubber is going to need to be replaced soon, with the rears being better than the fronts. There is a pintle hitch and small round trailer plug out back, as well. This truck is hard to start in the cold if it is not plugged in. This truck is located at our shop in Knoxville, IA, where we are also offering it for sale locally.
