For sale here is a very nice southern boom truck, 1-owner 2005 Freightliner M2 with a strong Cat C7 Acert diesel and the durable Allison automatic. With only 60,600 miles this one is just broke in good, it starts very easily and sounds great, the automatic pulls strong and shifts through all gears with ease up to highway speeds... runs out strong. For a big truck of this type it really drives nice and you will not be disappointed with this one, it"s true Freightliner quality. The chassis, flatbed, and boom are all in great physical and mechanical condition, the matching tires are really good being at least 75% + front and rear, the 4 HD outriggers hold it stable and there are 2 sets of pads for different soil conditions. The boom functions quite well from both the riding console and the Hetronic radio remote control... it"s really nice to operate standing on the ground or from the man basket as needed. It"s obvious this truck has been well maintained, serviced, and kept to this point. | “Very nice and clean truck and boom with the normal bumps, scratches, and dings. Runs and drives great, the boom functions 100% from the riding console or the Hetronic radio remote. Inside is nice and well kept, headliner has some minor sag/loose spots and radio turns on properly but not getting sound? Otherwise it's a solid Texas truck with no rust or rot.!” |
