You do not need a CDL to drive this, it has hydraulic brakes not airbrakes, you can drive this with a normal license the same way you can drive a Penske or uhaul truck. This would make an amazing foodtruck, skoolie, tiny home, or RV for camping, etc. This Freightliner is an extremely long StepVan with 4,187 original Miles (it was stored indoors), CMQD 7500 Onan Diesel Generator that works great (just push the button). You will not find another one this clean or anywhere near this price with he same features. The Diesel Generator has 1,100.4 Hours and the Cummins Diesel engine has 1,474.4 Hours on it. Custom Built for the government (stored in a warehouse for most of its life) and used as a mobile library, mobile office, and mobile voting booth. This would be great for a mobile therapy unit, mobile office, camper conversion like I said above, we bought it as an RV but decided to go a different route. It is wired and has outlets throughout the same way a house would have. This Cummins diesel is a Pre-DPF regulation diesel which means you never have to worry about Regen issues, DEF fluid, particulate filters failing and the various limp modes associated with modern diesels. It also makes parts a breeze to find if you ever need them since this is a super common engine that is used in dump trucks, pickup trucks, commercial RV"s, boats, and medium duty tow/rental trucks (5.9L Cummins). Some of the most notable features are: Insulated body and fiberglass interior panels (with AC it can get down to 34 Degrees inside when its 94 Degrees outside) 2 Air conditioning units roof mounted (gets ice cold in minutes), Low Hour Onan Diesel Generator CMQD 7500 Watt (enough power to run a washer and dryer, a set of commercial fridges, tv, and anything else you can throw at it. Espar Diesel Heater and remote control its hooked unto the fuel tank so if you fill the trucks tank your generator, heater, and truck all use the same tank and fuel (with a reserve if you use to much fuel the generator will shut off so you have enough fuel to drive where you need to go). Alarm Panel and backup battery with mounted alarm sensors, 4 - New Group 31 Deep Cycle Batteries (06/15/2021) Primary and Secondary Power Converters So you can have power using just the batteries if you don"t want to use the generator, Interior Power Outlets, Commercial Power cord 50" (if you don"t want to use the generators). The Interior data cabinet has a removable network rack with VGA and power outlets, Interior lighting and battery disconnect, backup camera with 7 screen (visor mounted), This is truly one of a kind with very low miles, and none of the emission equiptment that is known to break on the newer diesels.
