I am the 2nd owner of this rig and converted it especially for solo fiber splicing and plant maintenance. I prefer this setup over a trailer as it has reduced cost, better mileage and since it turns very tightly makes those big turnarounds unnecessary. Inside height is slightly more than 5" and is comfortable for 2 persons.
Included is the dc converter, ac inverter all lighting and air conditioner mounted in back locker. I am selling this as a turn-key package so the work chair, 24" ladder w/ hooks, cones and even a road sign are included. In fact, I will throw in 4 splice cases and a bunch of asst"d trays, fiber mods, pigtails, etc ($2k+ value).
Reason for sale is that I finished my last contract and will be traveling to manage jobs in the future.
Vehicle has been well maintained, always used 100% synthetic oil in engine and gen-set. Vehicle is getting all new brakes, drive belt and idler right now. A/C is nice and cold, All tires have been replaced (drives last month and steering late last year) and new shocks recently. Serviced the 30" lift last year w/ new hoses and solenoid.
Genset- New oil change, plugs, oil and gas filters and new computer. Runs perfect w/ 3k hours. One of the 6 mast strobes is out.
Installed multi-media stereo w/ sirius and dvd. There is a small hole in the driver seat as shown in photos. The rear entry door has a fiberglass crack across it from being landed on. It does not affect the operation but wanted to be fully open and it could be repaired easily.
Note; I replaced the drive tires before replacing the shocks and ended up with a slight scallop which can give some vibration at 65-70. I can replace these but only if the final price is reasonable but I wouldn"t hesitate to drive anywhere as it stands.
