For sale is a fleet maintained 2005 GMC Sierra 3500 161.5 wheel base extended cab rear wheel drive service/utility truck with 191,863 miles. Its equipped with an 8" Knapheide utility box ( model number 7108DJ1 ), the 6.0 liter Vortec V8 motor, automatic transmission, towing package, trailer brake controller, ladder racks, factory CD player, cruise control, ice cold air conditioning, and manual locks and windows. The box has been completely refurbished: it has been sanded and painted due to fading paint and scratches throughout ( the box was not rotted and is not filled with bondo ), brand new Knapheide latches have been installed, brand new LED lighting, new weather stripping on the door openings, rubber mats were fitted for the bottom of the boxes, and comes with 7 new keys for the latches.
The motor has been thoroughly gone through. The cylinder heads were pressure checked and machined. New head gaskets, head bolts, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, and plug wires were just installed along with a fresh oil change. I have all of the receipts for the mechanical work and work performed on the bed. The truck is mechanically sound throughout, the 6.0 liter V8 motor has great power, automatic transmission shifts nice and smooth, and the truck drives nice and straight down the road. The air bag light is currently on but the truck has never been wrecked before.
Truck is located at my shop in Mentor, Ohio which is about 20 minutes east of Cleveland, Ohio. Truck can be inspected or test driven prior to placing a bid.
