Both the drive and sweeper engines are powered by CNG (compressed natural gas) and both engines are California Air Resource Board emission compliant, which means this sweeper can be registered and operated in the state of California. The drive engine has 58302 miles and 6268 hours. The auxiliary engine has approximately 4000 hours of run time.
This sweeper is equipped with a Cummins GBT 5.9L-200 hp drive engine, Chevrolet 5.7L auxiliary sweeper engine (repowered in 2009), Allison RDS 2500 automatic transmission, two speed rear axle, Wabco four channel antilock air brakes with air dryer, power steering, air conditioning, heated/power adjustable mirrors, intermittent wipers, air ride seat, dual steering and rear view camera. The wheelbase is 141” with a 111” cab to axle dimension. The GVWR rating is 33,000 lbs with a 12,000 lb front axle and a 21,000 lb rear axle.
This sweeper comes with both right and left side gutter brooms, work lights, 9.6 cubic yard rear dump hopper, 220 gallon polyethylene water tank, and auxiliary hand hose for cleaning remote areas inaccessible to the sweeping head. The tires and brakes are good and everything works except for the rear engine temperature gauge, the right side gutter broom override and the left rear upper and lower amber warning lights. The hopper screens are missing and the left drag shoe is bent. The overall vehicle condition is consistent with most 11-year old street sweepers. It has a clear California title and is sold without license plates.
The CNG fuel tanks have a July 2020 expiration date and a Certificate of Inspection was last completed in October 2014.
This vehicle is owned and used by a municipality and has always received regular preventive maintenance service. Included with the purchase are service/repair/operators manuals as well as service records dating back to 2006 and some miscellaneous items shown in the photos. No other parts or accessories come with the vehicle.
