Selling a 2005 Sterling L8500 single axle road truck with 235,496 miles. Truck is one owner and maintained by first class fleet program. It has a Cat C7 engine, serial number KAL40696, and a Fuller 7 speed transmission, model 14607. Rear end is a Rockwell RS23160 and total GVWR is 32k lbs. Truck has air conditioning and is air ride. Tires are in fair to good condition. Normal wear and tear inside and out. Truck was running fine before injector failed.
Truck was taken out of service due to an injector going bad. It was in the process of being replaced by updating fleet so it was not fixed. Buyer will need to come prepared to haul the truck out of the yard. It may well run at the time of pickup but since we know the repair needs to be made we will only represent the truck as non runner. Reman injectors are available widely on the internet. As you can see the pictures were at a tough angle as the truck was parked between a couple others but I think we were able to get enough shots to see everything.

Most of what we sell are runners but occasionally we get a later model unit like this one that needs some simple repairs done to it.
