2006 Chevy 3500. Duramax diesel with Allison 6 speed automatic transmission. RWD. This is a basic work truck, manual windows and locks but it does have cruise control. Heat and a/c work great. Nice seat with console. The cab and frame are rock solid, all the cab sheet metal is original and not even starting to rust. The utility body is a 9ft reading that has power locks and compartment lights, as well as slide out ball bearing drawers. The utility body does has some rust but still overall very solid and has many years left in it. I have gone through this truck and replaced many parts ($3100 parts alone) including: pads, rotors, calipers at all 4 corners, all brake lines, emergency brake shoes, hardware, backing plates, seals, bearings, front shocks, both front wheel bearings, LF lower ball joint, sway bar links/ bushings, fuel cooler, both batteries, air bag sensor, power steering pump, every power steering line (all ac delco), belt, tensioner, idler pulley, all filters and oil change, all LED lights on body. I will be installing 2 front tires on it shortly. The truck has 260k all highway miles runs and shifts perfect you would never guess it had that many miles by the way it goes down the road. A new replacement of this truck with the same options in the body would be 65-70k and it comes loaded with emission control garbage that is guaranteed to fail.
