2006 Ford E350 XLT Road Rescue type III dual rear wheel ambulance with the 6.0L PowerStroke turbo diesel V8 engine with an automatic transmission. 224,985 one owner miles, but it has been well maintained. 11,500 pound GVW. Loaded with power windows, power locks, power mirrors, AM/FM/CD radio, air conditioning, cruise control, and tilt steering wheel. The interior is in good condition, clean, and everything works well. The ambulance body is also in good condition. The inverter, oxygen set up, exhaust fan, shore power, suction system, and dome lights are all still hooked up and functioning well. The ambulance box is clean, the cabinets are in good condition, and it is fully functional. The exterior is in good condition with no major body damage or flaws. It has a Whelen exterior warning lighting system with a light bar, perimeter lights, floodlights, siren, and P/A system. The engine fires up easily, idles well, and has no noises. The turbo spools up well and there is no blow by. This ambulance drives nicely and easily does 70 MPH on the highway. The transmission shifts smoothly. The brakes are good and it stops well. The frame is solid and rot free. It has been well maintained throughout its life. It recently got two new alternators and two new batteries. It is ready to be put back into service as an ambulance or it would make a great contractor dually work cargo van, plumbing van, roadside service truck, or even a camper. It is ready to go. It does have some average wear and tear throughout the ambulance. The check engine light is on for code P0402, but it doesn’t affect the drivability. The emergency brake is weak and the driver’s seat has some wear on the edges. The tires range from fair to good. There is some corrosion around the edges of the ambulance body, but there is no rot (the worst is pictured). There is some minor paint peel where the decals were removed. There is some minor rust and rot starting on the driver’s side rocker panel, but it’s not bad. There is some surface rust on the front bumper that should be able to be buffed out a bit. The horn on the steering wheel does not work, but the ambulance air horn does work correctly. The ambulance body is missing some of the keys to lock the compartments, but all the compartments do open. Clean title. Being sold as wholesale to the public.
