2006 Ford E450 XLT McCoy Miller type III dual rear wheel ambulance with the 6.0L Power Stroke turbo diesel engine and an automatic transmission. 14,050 GVW. One owner (local town fire department) with a clean Carfax and no accidents. Only 84,970 miles. Great shape inside and outside. The driver’s compartment is loaded with power windows, power locks, power heated mirrors, AM/FM/CD radio, air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, and cruise control. The interior is in good shape, clean, and all of the options work well. The rear ambulance compartment is also in good shape and everything is still hooked up. The power inverter, shore power, oxygen set up, vacuum pump, dome lights, air conditioning, and heat all work well. The storage compartments are clean and in good shape. The exterior doesn’t have any major body damage and the paint shines well. All of the exterior warning lighting is Whelen LED including the light bar with a Carson siren and PA system. This ambulance runs and drives great. It starts right up and has none of the usual 6.0L issues. There is no smoke, hesitations, noises, flaws, or issues. There are no check engine lights or any other sort of warning lights. The turbo spools up very well and the engine has plenty of power. The transmission shifts well. This is a well maintained ambulance. It was just gone through and got two new front tires, three new Napa heavy duty batteries, new radiator, two new alternators, new tensioner pulley, new belts, new carrier bearing, new u-joints, new front brake rotors, new front brake pads, new rear brake calipers, new rear brake rotors, and new rear brake pads. $1000s in maintenance all done within the last 300 miles. It has been detailed, cleaned, and it ready to put into service. It is 9 years old and has a little average wear from use. The exterior has some bumps and dings (mainly on the chrome trim over the rear wheels). The ambulance body has a few small rust corrosion bubbles near the compartment hinges, but nothing bad and there are no rot holes. The worst is pictured. The driver’s side carpet has some wear but nothing that a floor mat wouldn’t cover up. The emergency brake is weak. It could use an alignment (doesn’t pull to either side though). The handheld spotlight in the driver’s compartment is broken but can be replaced easily. The rear driver’s side door handle is broken and the door is stuck shut. Overall it is a great ambulance that is ready to go. Clean title. Being sold as wholesale to the public.
