I am selling a 2006 Ford E450 Ambulance with a 6.0 Power stroke diesel engine. This ambulance belonged to our local county and ran & drove since it was bought new in 2006. It sat for about 8 or 9 months before I purchased it and had run out of diesel fuel. I have heard it start and run but since I brought it home I have added fuel and cranked and cranked til the starter failed. Now it needs a starter. I was told that if the diesel engine runs out it looses prime. Well, I have never primed one so I am not sure. It will need batteries and a starter for sure. This was a good running truck until it sat. As of the last time it was used, it ran well. This has the Aluminum body with lots of compartments. The only thing I think has been removed was the communication equipment. I do believe (but have not seen) the lights all work. The tires are very good at least 80% and it has 119k miles.
I am located in West Lafayette, In 47906. This truck will need to be trailered or towed since it is currently not running.
