For Sale: 2006 Ford F-550, Lariat Trim, 6.0 L V-8 Diesel, Torqueshift 5-speed Automatic transmission, 4-wheel drive, black clear coat exterior and medium flint leather (VIN 1FDAW57P46EB81517). We purchased the truck with 65,138 miles in May of 2009. The pickup bed was added to the cab-chassis unit by the previous owner; it is made from two DWR bed sides and a back panel bolted together and then bolted to the truck’s frame. There is a standard tailgate. A, full under the rail, bed liner was added and a fiberglass filler panel was installed between the box and the cab. We had a load of cement blocks on a pallet slide forward one time and it pushed the top center of the rear panel out of alignment. This does not affect carrying a camper and is readily repairable. There is a front mount box receiver. At 82,966 miles the engine was replaced with a new remanufactured long block and turbo charger, by SpradleyBarr Ford in Laramie, WY. All of the original engine was replaced excluding the wiring harness and belts. Current mileage is 93,070 (10,104 miles on new engine). At 87,073 miles the following service was performed: replace; anti-freeze, brake fluid power steering fluid, transfer case oil, motor oil with Mobil 1 Delvac Synthetic 5W-40 engine oil, transmission fluid, front axle oil, internal transmission filter, both fuel filters, engine oil filter, front shocks, rear brake pads, coolant hose, electronic fan clutch, flushed cooling system, flushed brake system, repaired wiring at exhaust back pressure sensor, and finally checked all computer codes. At 89,632 miles the engine oil, oil filters, and both fuel filters were replaced. At 92,961 miles engine oil, oil filter and fuel filters were replaced. The interior is in excellent condition, no cracks or excessive wear in the carpet or leather, dash and doors. Glass is good all around. Exterior paint is very good with almost no scratches and there is no rust anywhere. There is a fist size shallow dent in the passenger side door; the paint remains intact so there is no rust. The two heavy duty engine batteries were replaced within the last year. Front tires are Sentaida steel radials (245/70 R19.5) with about 3/8 inch tread depth. We replaced the four rear tires with Michelin XDS 2 M&S tires now with about 25,000 miles. Tread depth is about ½ inch. We installed front and rear TorkLift Camper tiedowns. We carried a 4,500 pound slide in truck camper on this truck with ease. Maximum towing capacity is 24,800 pounds. GVWR is 17,950 pounds; maximum payload is 10,000 pounds. Fuel economy is 8-9 mpg with the camper on.
